How long does installation take?

There may be some odour during installation due to the industrial-grade resins we use—these ensure maximum durability. Most people don’t mind the smell (some even like it!), but we recommend that expectant or nursing mothers vacate the home during installation and for 2–3 days afterward. Good ventilation is essential during and immediately after the job. After 48–72 hours, any residual odour will have dissipated.

No. We use industrial-grade coatings specifically designed to withstand hot tyre pickup—an issue with lower-quality products and DIY kits. Our floors are built to handle daily vehicle use without peeling or marking.

How do I prepare for installation day?

We’ll provide a full prep checklist beforehand. In general, the area needs to be clear of vehicles, furniture, and belongings. No need to clean the surface—we take care of all the floor preparation.

Yes—within reason. Minor cracks, chips, and surface imperfections are repaired during prep. If there’s major structural damage, we’ll let you know and discuss the best course of action.

What’s the difference between flake and solid colour epoxy?

Flake epoxy includes coloured chips that add texture, hide dirt, and create a decorative finish—it’s also fully customisable. Solid colour epoxy provides a clean, uniform look and is often preferred for a more industrial style. Both finishes are tough, sealed, and long-lasting—it just depends on your taste.

Can I choose how glossy the finish is?

Yes. We offer both our Durable 5-layer system and our Elite 6-layer system, which includes an additional thick 90% solids polyaspartic clear coat for extra gloss, clarity, and depth.
We also offer satin finishes using urethane resin, though this option isn’t as durable for high-traffic areas. Most clients choose gloss, especially since polyaspartic clear coats are only available in gloss and offer the best stain resistance. Anti-slip options are also available for outdoor or high-traffic areas like patios and driveways.

Will epoxy yellow or fade over time?

Not with our UV-stable topcoats. Yellowing is a common issue with lower-grade epoxies and resins, especially outdoors, but we only use UV-resistant coatings designed to keep your floor looking sharp for many years.

How long until I can walk or drive on the floor?

You can walk on the floor after 24 hours and drive on it after 7 days. We’ll give you the exact curing times based on the product used and environmental conditions.

The difference is night and day. Our professional-grade systems have higher solids content, superior adhesion, and a far longer lifespan. DIY kits often fail due to poor surface prep and low-quality formulas. Our floors are made to last—not just look good for a few months.
